We went camping in Williams AZ over the weekend to see the Grand Canyon.   It was COLD (for us) but we had fun anyway.  We also went to Meteor Crater and stopped in downtown Flagstaff.  The best part of the trip was definitely the train ride to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon from Williams.  Evie practiced walking down the isles of the train car and smiling at the other passengers.

Ok here is my first attempt at putting a video on this web log.

This is a video of what Evie does in the morning while Alexis and I are getting ready for the day.  She mostly sits on the bed and plays with her toys or her feet or whatever else she can grab.  Evie is definitely a morning baby and is almost always in a good mood when she wakes up.

I posted a few more pictures in Evie's 4 month album.  She might be 5 months in some of those pictures.  I never thought keeping a timeline of my kid could be so confusing at times.  I will be putting more pictures up as soon as I get a chance.  There is a picture in there that Alexis called "Monkey" and it shows Evie behind the bars of her crib.  I am pretty sure this is how we found her one morning.  Flipped around and right up against the bars.

Like her daddy Evie is an active sleeper.  We only recently started finding her in all kinds of crazy positions in the morning.  Sometimes she is sideways and sometimes she is upside-down and sometimes she is right where we left her the night before.

Alexis is now full time mommy and no longer working.  She is loving every minute of it and I would be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of her getting to stay with the baby all day. I have formed a new habit of calling home frequently just to see what's going on with those two.

It's starting to get hot here so I imagine we will be taking a few more trips to the park before we are stuck indoors most the time.  The community pool across from our house is opening soon so look forward to seeing Evie in her little swimming suit.  SHE IS SO CUTE!

My good friend Brian and I have pulled out the old film cameras and started shooting again.  The newest photo albums contain some of the more recent shots that he has taken.  I will post more of my own once I get the film processed.

Well I finally got around to putting up new pictures of our baby.  Since I broke my Canon AE-1 camera I had to borrow Dad's.  I think the pictures came out looking pretty darn good considering I haven't used a non-digital camera with manual focus in a long time.

Of course then again, any picture with a subject as cute as our little Evie is probably going to turn out pretty good. :-)
